What to Expect

Expect hands-on fun, supportive staff, and a balanced mix of structured activities and individual goal exploration. Classes are designed to welcome diverse abilities and learning styles, with adaptations and supports individualized to each participant’s needs.

Highlights

  • Small 8:1 ratio for attentive, safe instruction and meaningful social interaction.

  • Skilled, inclusive staff who guide activities, model skills, and provide sensory or behavioral supports as needed.

  • Hands-on, multisensory activities that encourage movement, exploration, creativity, and gross- and fine-motor development.

  • Structured segments (warm-up, skill practice, group games) combined with open play time for choice, creativity, and peer interaction.

  • Clear routines and visual or verbal supports to promote comfort, independence, and transitions.

  • Flexible pacing and adaptations (modifying equipment, task steps, rules, or environment) so each camper can participate successfully.

  • Opportunities to practice communication, social skills, self-regulation, and teamwork in a positive, strengths-based setting.

  • Regular feedback to caregivers about progress, strategies to use at home, and recommendations for continued growth.

This is a space where clients can move, lift, stretch, and grow—safely and joyfully—while building skills and confidence alongside peers.
